WORLD HOMEOPATHY DAY EMPOWERING WORLD HEALTH DAY: Health for All, Homeopathy for All.
263rd Birthday of
Dr. Hahnemann. It’s a month of
celebration for health professionals, scientific communities, even for public
across the world. It’s not just a month of World Homeopathy Day (WHD) but World
Health Day as well that is celebrated 3 days ahead of WHD. The whole fraternity
of homeopathy unites to cherish 10th April, the day of birthday of Dr.
Christian Friedrich Samuel Hahnemann, the father of Homeopathy, the chemist, the
language translator, the writer, the scientist, researcher and the true public
health well-wisher.
Dr. Hahnemann’s Cinchona experiment in 1790 gave a
foundation of a new system of medicine, Homeopathy. He deciphered his logical reasoning
into time-tested principals after painstaking experiments to reaffirm the concepts of similia with more
clarity and evidences. Discovery of Homeopathy has been a blessing to the
community due to its credibility, gentleness, cost-effectiveness, and
approachability. With growing success stories
and emerging researches homeopathy has made its mark in the world of health.
Despite controversial views by opponents, it is well-accepted by society and
its followers are growing with time.
World Health Organization (WHO) recognize 7th April,
annually World Health Day. The concern (theme) of World Health Organization is Universal
Health Coverage (UHC): ‘Health For All’, to ensure quality health services
utilization by all people, wherever and whenever, without suffering financial
hardship. But unfortunately rising cost of healthcare has been a major concern.
A WHO report, 2015, showed that 400 million people do not have access to essential
health services and 6% of people in low- and middle-income countries are pushed
further into extreme poverty owing to health spending. WHO’s efforts since its
origin gone in vain due to poor accessibility of healthcare facilities due to
unapproachable high cost.
Homeopathy is a nature’s divine blessing
to the society. Homeopathy is a greatest helping hand
of WHO in attaining its goal. Homeopathy can be promising in the global health
scenario if it is integrated in mainstream public health. Homeopathy has a lot
to offer to the world as it is economical, gentle and cost-effective. It a high
time that WHO must expand access to health and protect the poorest from health
expenses that are causing them severe financial hardship by extending his hand towards
homeopathy by integrating homeopathy in mainstream public health.
Homeopathy users appreciate its superiority in
treating antibiotics side effects or resistance. Since
ages antibiotics have been misused indiscriminately that results in side
effects and resistance in long-run. But homeopathy doesn’t consider
bacteria, virus as cause of the disease, though it is considered to be
resultant of the inner disharmony. So it boosts the immunity of the patient to
fight itself successfully and doesn’t suffix any resistance.
Surgery though represents remarkable achievement
of modern medicine, and renders immediate result to the renal stones, warts,
piles etc yet it has failed to avoid recurrence and to cure them permanently.
But homeopathy is one step ahead that cures the
surgical cases without using knife or scalpel. Homeopathy has
established wonderful examples of treating cases of warts, appendicitis, renal
stones etc. with its minutest pillules.
Homeopathy refrain unwarranted surgeries by stimulating
patient’s susceptibility and arrest the disease beforehand.
A Patient of cancer and his family are in catastrophic
situation of emotion and pains. Opting appropriate treatment is a
life-and-death decision. Conventional cancer
treatments such as radiotherapy, chemotherapy etc. always fails to save patient
during harsh treatments and also prove fatal due to disastrous side effects.
While homeopathy has been credited to be free from such effects and being
plausible.
It’s a need of an hour that homeopathy walk hand
in hand with WHO to provide a safe, gentle and low-cost treatment.
Let’s unite World
Homeopathy Day and World Health Day
and give a healthy and happy life to the society.
